Ian Stanyon MLI
Ian Stanyon is principal landscape designer for the Environmental planning team at Sheffield City Council working mainly on regeneration and parks open space projects. Working with Sheffield now for five years Ian has previously worked with private practice and Groundwork giving him a broad spectrum of Masterplanning to community driven projects. Ian once wrote a dissertation on the contribution that landscape design could make to land drainage. This has now come to reality with his design contribution to the regeneration of land at the Manor in Sheffield including a SUDS scheme as part of turning it into the newest district park in Sheffield in more than 50 years.
